Tonight’s dinner is ready in less than 10 minutes ...Blackened chicken Alfredo pasta🤤 . 🔹Alfredo sauce: 1/2 stick of salted Kerrygold butter (2 oz) 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese 2 tsp minced garlic if you aren’t a huge garlic lover or a heaping tablespoon if you’re garlic obsessed like me 🧄 Everything but the bagel seasoning———————————- 🔹Melt butter and add in minced garlic, then add in heavy cream and seasoning. Cook until well mixed. Then add in Parmesan cheese and stir till cheese is fully melted. ———————————— 🔹Tyson blackened tenders were air fried 370° for 8 minutes. ———————————— 💥Fresh Broccoli was placed in a bowl with a little bit of water. Placed a plate on top and steamed in microwave for 3 minutes. Drain and then chop up. . . 💥Add Healthy noodles, chopped broccoli, sliced chicken and bacon crumbles to hot pan. Mix until well combined with sauce or you can top it on after. Serve hot. . . . . .💥What are you having for dinner? Tag a friend who needs to make this. Morning folks! ☀️ About a month ago I experimented with tracking my blood sugar for two weeks, using a @freestylediabetes continuous glucose monitor. This was to find out if I had any food allergies, and what foods or activities causes me to spike disproportionately high.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ There were three clear patterns:⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 💪🏼 When I do strength training in the morning, my blood sugar is super stable the rest of the day, regardless of what I eat. I tested this by eating a 14" pizza 🍕 and a big slice of banana bread but even that didn't go past 6.5 mmol 🤷🏼‍♀️⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🕔 My blood sugar is higher in the evening than in the morning, even when I have a low carb dinner. Swipe to see my average daily pattern 👉🏼⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🍠 Some carbs at dinner (around 40gr) help keep my blood sugar from dropping too low during the night and waking me up 😴⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ In terms of food allergies, I found nothing that my body disliked apart from a minor reaction to black beans (I can live with that 🎉). Lockdown was the perfect time to do this as I had 100% control over what I ate.
