This is the year for my salon!
I’ve always loved everything hair related since I was a young girl. After attending cosmetology school I knew one day I would have my own space! I’m determined to have my own salon and these are the steps I’m working on right now.
I’ve always been a goal-oriented person. At the beginning of the year, I always like to write up my professional goals and Tony and I write up our plan for us and our family for the year. To be honest we hadn’t sat down and went over those in great detail until recently. With our extra time being at home we have been able to really take advantage of this time and talk extra about ALL of our plans and dreams.
Professionally my goals this year is education, social media platforms and I would love to open my own salon!
👩🏫Education is always a #1 for me. I gain so much fun energy and cool techniques when I step out of my comfort zone and take hands on classes. Although I do love look and learns too!
Right now because the whole hair world isn’t working, there are sooo... many cool classes and certifications that I’m signed up for. The shirt I’m wearing in this picture is from @_saltsociety , I took this class last year and loved it and now I’m signed up for their new set of classes! I’m excited to gain new inspiration from these amazing educators.
💻Social media is definitely not a strength of mine but I hired the amazing @thebuzzingblonde to help me understand everything about IG, Facebook, Pinterest and eventually having a website too. I’m trying to take all the steps so that when I find the perfect spot for my salon everything will be in order.
💈As far as opening my own salon.. it’s still in the works. Still searching for the perfect space that fits what I’m looking for. Cheers to positive vibes that I will find the perfect space soon.
Tell me one goal you have for 2020!
